Month 10

Hailey's Stats:

Age: 10 months

Weight: according to the so accurate weigh yourself and then hold the baby and weigh again she is 16 lbs!  Which would mean she gained a whole pound this month which would be awesome. 

Length: about 28"

Eye Color: deep blue - they are lightening up some but still very blue

Hair color: blonde- with some tints of red and some darker shades in the back  

Clothing:  Mostly 9 month 

Eating Schedule: She is eating at least 3 meals a day.  I basically give her whatever we are eating.  Everything from grilled cheese sandwiches to roast and potatoes!  

This past month we had Hailey tested for a variety of things due to her slow weight gain.  They tested her thyroid and organ function and they tested for food allergy.  Basically everything came back just fine.  She did show minor allergy to egg whites (which I already knew) and minor allergy to onion.  But nothing significant that would explain her slow weight gain.  The dr. here believes that she is just fine but just a slow gainer.  We will go back in at 11 months and take it from there. 

Sleeping: She goes to bed around 8:30pm and wakes up around 7:30-8.  She tends to wake up between 6 and 7 am for a bottle and then will go back to sleep. 

Other: She now has 8 teeth, 4 on bottom and 4 on top

Talking: She is getting more and more vocal every day.  She likes to blow raspberries right now.  She has decided she doesn't like her diaper changed anymore and lets me know it!

Activity:  Hailey is crawling and pulling up everywhere. She transfers from the coffee table to the couch and has started slowly walking behind her walker toy.  I've seen her attempt to stand without holding on to anything but she hasn't been able to hold it yet. 

Personality: She is still a very happy, chill baby.  She loves to watch her brother and is trying more and more to play with him.  On our most recent vacation she and Jacob had some "wrestle" time on the bed and she was enjoying. 

This past month once again Hailey traveled on an airplane and went on another trip.  It was her first visit to Switzerland, France, and Italy.  She was easy to travel with and still a joy to be around. 

Did I say last month was hard to take her picture?! Ha, it doesn't even compare to this month.  She did not want to be in her bed or confined AT. ALL!  It took a lot of effort on mine and Jacob's part to get the pictures we did!  Here's our beautiful Hailey bear.
