Age: 12 months
Weight: 16 lbs. Hailey just barely cracked the 16 pound mark. We have officially been recommended for more testing and follow up on her lack of weight gain.
Length: 28"
Eye Color: deep blue - they are lightening up some and sometimes I think they are changing color
Hair color: blonde- with some tints of red and some darker shades in the back
Clothing: Mostly 9 month some 12
Eating Schedule: She is eating at least 3 meals a day and snacks and down to 3 bottles. She eats almost everything we eat and lots of it!
Sleeping: She goes to bed around 8:30pm and wakes up around 7:30-8. Occasionally she sleeps all the way through and occasionally she wakes up around 6 am takes a bottle and goes back to sleep. On her own she has decided to stop taking a morning nap!! It's made mid-day more difficult but mornings easier.
Other: She know has 10 teeth with 2 more on the way. She has her bottom molars and is working on the top ones.
Talking: She is getting more and more vocal every day. She makes some consistent sounds that we could say are words but I'm still not sure she means them. She will shake her head "no" when she's tired of something or is all done eating. Hailey also JUST started signing "out" for when she's done eating. She points to her bed when she is tired of being rocked. Hailey points at her cup and squeals at dinner if I forget to give it to her. She is definitely learning how to communicate what she wants.
Activity: Hailey is a super fast crawler and an excellent climber. She enjoys wrestling with her brother and playing on the couch. Hailey loves playing around other babies at playgroups and nursery .
Personality: Hailey is such a smiley, happy, easy baby. She seems to enjoy life and playing and exploring. We are so blessed to have her in our life.
