My trip to France, Switzerland, and Italy

I'm working hard to see how many countries I can visit in my first year of life so I talked Mom and Dad into taking me to France, Switzerland, and Italy.  I really wanted to see some mountains and get out of the heat of Doha.

My first stop was in Chamonix France.  It was so nice to get to wear my cute sweater and feel the cool air.  The first full day I hired Ingrid to watch me and Jacob so that Mom and Dad could have a date day.   We went to a park and had lots of fun playing in the hotel room.  I didn't really get to see much of Chamonix but I did enjoy the cute little town and the mountains in the back ground.

The next day we drove to Zermatt, Switzerland.  Did I mention we spent a lot of time in the car on this trip?  But I didn't mind, it gave me a chance to catch up on sleep and play with my toys.  Back to Switzerland. Once we arrived we took a train up to view the Matterhorn and took a beautiful hike.  I enjoyed the hiking and all of the time I spent cuddled up to Mom.

My next day in Switzerland was rainy and cloudy so we just wandered around town.  But I had the cutest outfi!  Isn't my Daddy handsome?!

We did some more driving the next day and ended in Varenna, Italy.   It is such a quaint cute little town on Lake Como.  Again it was raining so our original plans were cancelled but I enjoyed strolling the streets and having dinner on the water.

Finally the next day was sunny again and I was able to get my boat trip around Lake Como.  We viewed the coast line and stopped at a popular villa used for movies.  Of course I haven't seen any of these movies yet but I will one day.

Once again we did more driving to end in Catelrotto, Italy in the Dolomite mountain area.  The following day we set out on an adventurous bike ride.  While Mom and Dad stopped to have a discussion about types of bikes I sat in the grass taking in the views.  For the bike ride I had this suite "chariot" bike trailer.  It kept me comfy and warm through the day.

The next day was another driving day, driving along the coast of Lake Garda.  Our day ended in Venice, Italy.

Venice is such a beautiful city.  I was able to spend some time out of the carrier and even got some time in the stroller when Jacob would give it up. I loved all the old buildings and statues and the water running through the city. I even talked Mom and Dad into taking me on a Gondola ride.

Venice was a lot hotter than the rest of our trip and it left me with some awesome hair dos!
I'm so happy I talked Mom and Dad into this trip!  Up next Spain and Portugal.
